Client: Shawarma Queen Restaurant
Location: Georgia, USA
Platform: In-store digital display screen
Tools Used: Adobe Premiere Pro
Shawarma Queen, a fast-casual restaurant based in Georgia, USA, required a digital menu video to be displayed on their in-store screen. The goal was to present their food and beverage offerings in a clean, readable, and visually engaging format that aligns with the brand's identity and enhances the customer ordering experience.
I was responsible for the full video production of the digital menu, which included the following key deliverables:
Logo Quality Enhancement – The restaurant provided their logo in a lower resolution format that was not suitable for large-screen display. I worked on improving the logo's clarity, sharpness, and overall visual quality to ensure it appeared crisp and professional when featured prominently in the digital menu video.
Motion Graphics Design – Creating animated text and visual elements that are both attractive and easy to read at a glance, while maintaining a cohesive brand aesthetic throughout the video.
Typography & Color Grading – Ensuring the menu fonts and color palette complement the restaurant's brand identity while maintaining high legibility on screen under various lighting conditions.
Pacing & Timing – Structuring the video flow to give customers enough time to read each item without feeling rushed, suitable for a quick-service dining environment where decisions are made within seconds.
Export & Delivery – Preparing the final file in the correct resolution, aspect ratio, and format for the restaurant's specific display hardware to guarantee seamless playback.
The final video was successfully installed and displayed on the restaurant's screen. The enhanced logo now appears sharp and professional, adding a polished touch to the overall presentation. The client expressed satisfaction with the outcome, and the visual presentation now contributes to a smoother, more professional ordering experience for their customers.
Below are two images showcasing the project journey:
Image 1: My editing timeline inside Adobe Premiere Pro, showing the layered structure of the motion graphics.
Image 2: A photo sent by the restaurant, showing the final video playing live on their in-store screen.
This project was a great reminder of why I enjoy video editing – the ability to take a concept from the editing timeline and see it function in a real-world setting, directly impacting a business's daily operations. It also reinforced the importance of adapting design choices to the physical environment where the content will be viewed, considering factors like screen size, lighting, and viewer distance. Additionally, the logo enhancement phase highlighted how even small improvements in visual quality can significantly elevate the overall professionalism of a project.
"The digital menu looks fantastic on our screen – clear, professional, and our customers love it! The logo came out much sharper than our original file as well."
